Hey GN.... Yes that is a complete Bone stock 5.3 with 31k on it!! No filed rings, no replaced rod bolts, NOTHING! Its only mods are a Camshaft/Springs, LS9 gaskets, and ARP head studs. It does have an edelbrock intake on it, but EVERYTHING else is untouched!
The thing weighs 3967lbs as of this morning!! lol (that's with me NOT in it!) so your looking right at 4175lbs total... HEAVY!!

Nice car and its flying for the weight!! Would be a solid mid 8second combo in a 3000lb car setup for the 1/4mile. What camshaft is in that bad boy? How much did you increase the stall on the converter?

Its honestly a really small cam. You can't even hear it lope or anything when its idling. I'll dig up the cam card and get the specs for ya though. The stahl was increased 800rpm from last year. Its an Ultimate Converter. I worked with Lenny and honestly took it out a couple times for adjustments. The results are fantastic though so i'm really happy. Last year it wouldn't let me get past 2700 or so.. now its a good 3500 stahl out of the hole. Works out perfect! Still lets me cruise down the interstate on the big end with no ill effects!
As far as the setup goes, I have a built LS2 setup in a Nissan 240 with this same rear mounted turbo that i'm nearly done with. That thing weighs 2600lbs, and with a bigger engine to spool it...is gonna be Wicked! (Fingers crossed!)
Thanks,
Billy

Your Trans Am is my Idol right now! I'm putting a 5.3/4l60 with 3600 stall and a 224/224 cam and planning a turbo kit as well. My '77 is also red just like yours.. Gorgeous car, and great work! I love the pictures and write ups. Keep it coming!
