You should contact Kyle at Thompson Motorsports. He now runs Diamond Pistons in his short blocks and can get you set up with the exact combo you need to get your desired compression ratio! Tell him Jon sent you!

I'm running Livernois pistons made by Ross. They also use Diamond. I would be happy with either one.

Like said before, any 2618 Forging will be nice. Diamond, J&E, Wiseco, Manley, Ross, & Mahle they are all good.

We have a huge selection of Diamond in stock and a pretty good selection of Wiseco and probe as well. They are all great pistons when you get to this level of piston. I think you will be very happy with any of the above, I would make the decision based on the use and piston available (+/-CC for the use with ring lands set where needed for your use).

Just orders the wiseco turbo duty pistons for my build. They redesigned them and look a lot better.

The key is not so much the piston, but the clearances piston/wall, quench, decks. ALL excellent pistons will fail in a poorly machined block.

Make sure you get the best of both!
