OP,
I'm also running these .68 AR Turbine housings. But with a Stalled TH400 auto. I wouldn't change a thing on it, espacially with an M6. In fact, if I could get an option for a T3 housing I'd be all over it.

If there's any chance you could send me some close up pictures on where you cut and sliced into that manifold in order to put the T4 flange so close, I'd be your BFF!
This just "Might" make it possible to do for my car.

What turbo's are u using? I was thinking of like 6165,would that fit down in there? What would u use on a 408 with lsa heads?

So, I guess you were able to find a way to clear your steering shaft? As far as those detailed pics, I know I took some detailed pics of the driver's side as to how and where I cut and sliced those pieces like what you're asking but, for some reason, I just could'nt find them, somehow it seemed like it got erased. Sorry!

I'm using a pair of Turbonetics BB T4 66/65 with E-cover compressor housing. I thought about using the S-cover, but it would take a bit more work to clear it, especially on the passenger side. I would use the same size turbos like mine with your 408.

I have done some talking with forceinduction, and I will probability do 6262 turbonetics with t3 housing and 4 bolt and 3in exit.

Just a little update, not a whole lot. I went ahead and painted the manifolds and downpipes with "extreme high temperature ceramic coating" in a spray can, I was going to send them out to be coated, but I decided to not just yet shell-out around $400 before I'm 100% sure I could reach my goal. Anyway, here are some pics, several pics are before I painted the downpipes as I was still deciding on the O2 sensor's bungs locations.

Before I started this project, I knew that I would be doing a lot of fitment testing and lots of clearance checking. Since I don't have a car lift , I fabbed-up myself my own "poor man's lift"... engine/tranny lift that is . So, if you're thinking of making something like this twin kit and you don't have a car lift, you might want to build something similar to this. It really did make test fitting this twin kit a breeze.

A pair of t3/t4 6262 would work too. I was going to go with t3/t4 6665, but decided to go with straight t4's.

Absolutely love your clearance work! I wish that I thought of the same thing for a twin setup. About 95% of the folks out there are not brave enough to hack up their bodies like that, but you made it look too easy!

How does it stay balanced? Looks like the whole thing could easily topple over. Is it secured by just one bolt?

Thanks! But, believe you me, I was also kind of afraid to start hacking up those areas as I never did anything like this before. So, I just closed my eyes and hoped for the best, I guess I got really lucky . And yes, the engine/tranny cradle is held by 1 bolt, but make sure you locate it's center of gravity first before you weld that flat piece in the middle.

If you're referring to the engine mount "pedestal" then the answer would be yes. I was thinking of modifying them so that I would be able to use the S-cover compressor, but decided not to go that far. Anyway, sending you my e-mail. - Thx!
