I see that you already have a APS kit, and it looks like you still have a lot left powerwise as far as it's potential.

At first, I thought about facing the manifolds forward and have the turbos upfront, but I'm not quite ready to loose my a/c yet either.

No offense taken. I do plan of doing that, and might also wrap the starter with a heat blanket. I have to say that I really admire all your work on your Nova, you were actually one of the few guys that inspired me to fab-up this one. Thanks!

Nothing really special about the build other than it will be bolted onto an AES 390cu.in. I will be re-using my AFR 225's. I haven't really been working on lately because of this heat wave, it's just been so freaking hot in my garage. I'll get back to wrenching on it pretty soon, since the weather seems to be getting a lot better.

Yeah my goal is to run in the 8's with full accessories and still be able to drive the car to and from the track... I know it's a long shot but hey why not aim high lol. I want to do this when I can get a 6.0L and start a 408 build. I am right now in the beginning of the research so I will be really getting into the nitty gritty when I get the motor and start getting ready to purchase the bottom end.

Cant wait to get some updated progress on this. Did you have to change out the OEM starter with the MSD starter to get the turbo to fit that area or was it just a preference?

I decided to go ahead and viperized my T56. It developed a faint whine early last year, I then changed all the bearings myself, but the freaking whine never went away . So, I'll just go ahead and drop it off my local shop this Saturday and let them deal with it.

It's actually a Powermaster mini-starter, it's a little bit shorter compared to MSD, I had them side by side when I picked it up from Jeg's. You could probably use the OEM starter but you would definately have to notch the rail a bit more.

I'm still waiting on my t56. I'd rather install the engine and tranny together. After that, I still have a bunch of other small stuff I have to deal with. I'm so freaking jealous that you're so way far ahead of me. Lol!

Don' be jealous, use it as motivation. I am just a freak when it comes to tearing into jobs. I get something on my mind it has to be done right now. I have no patience and can't stand to have something not working, lol. I have to have it right now, lol. I will stay up late nights, get up super early, whatever it takes to get something done. I guess with night school, a toddler and a full time job you have to make time to do it. I am ready for you to get it going.

Sorry! not much going on as I'm still waiting on my t56. I'd rather wait and install the motor and tranny together. I must admit, I am starting to get anxious to see what kind of result I would get.

Wow. looks amazing man. keep up the work, and give more updates!
just a quick question, i will admit, i didnt read through the whole tread, but doesnt it look the the turbos outlet on the dirvers side is going to run into the oil filter?(didnt read if you have a solution of this) but way to be creative and still make unique and totally functional.

Nice build by the way.
