C5 manifolds for turbo kit??
C5 manifolds for turbo kit?? I have planned on using truck manifolds for my turbo kit on my 240sx but they are cause tons of clearance issues. Are the c5 manifolds ok? They are built differently than the other stock manifolds and I wanted to know if they would be ok? Has anyone used them? Will they be ok for high hp(1000whp) I'm not planning to make that now but eventually I do and I'd hate to have to do this all over.

flow wise the c6 manifolds will work just as well as the truck manifolds.
the c6 hug the block more and might fit better in your applications.
the main reason truck manifolds are used so much is because they clear the steering shaft on fbodies so well. but this is vehicle specific.

The c5 manis I have are a double wall stamped metal. I was worried about how they would hold together under boost and etc.
I know the truck manis work well and hold up to high hp. I think I am going to use 2 pass side truck manis. The dr side down/forward and the pass side up/ forward.
We are having issues with clearance between the radiator and motor, car/motor and ground. Brake master cylinder, alternator, steering shaft. Basically everything. Going to have some interesting hot side piping.

Verdad Gallardo We went ahead with the truck manis. Relocate alt, fuse boxes, tilt radiator, move fans, move coolant reservoir, and might have to run a really short downpipe. Was hoping to run full exhaust. Also, might have to run a screen rather than a filter.
