Default another what oil would you use

Seems like most on here like Rotella or VR1. I would like to run a full synthetic. What vescoisty would you rec on a FI motor (TVS2300)? Clearances are ROD .002-.0022 MAIN .0012-.0015. Midwest so temps range from 50-95. Engines been dynoed and have about 500 miles on it. Seeing what you guys would run.

I always herd lots of good things about rotella oils. My buddy has been using it in his turbo sbf mustang for over a year now and i used it on my last turbo stock bottom end ls1 with no issues that were oil related. I recently switched to valvoline VR1 50w becuase of its proven compatibility with E85 fuel. So far so good.. Either one is probably a safe choice

You can use 20w50 if its cold were u live. Makes it easier to crank over in the cold. Either way there both 50w when hot

I'm a little nervous about the MAIN clearences, those seem awfully tight. My tuner said that the oil wasn't getting hot on the dyno but don't you think 50w is a bit thick for those? Maybe run a 20-50 synthetic which is a bit thinner right?

I would recommend Brad Penn 15W-40 High Performance Oil. I've been using it for a long time with great results.
