Default Procharger install problems W/ pulleys

so iv been working on this car for a while now and have a issue with the pulleys. I was talking to bob the other day from brute speed and he said that only the Corvette pulleys are the ones that line up. but as y'all can see in the pictures that all of my pulleys line up when i installed the Alt, power steering put and idler pulley. I thought that i might have to buy 8 rib pulleys for all but bob said i didnt. So maybe y'all can help me out with this.

The only thing that i could come up w/ is that the dampner is set to far back which is lining the 8 rib from the dampner with the other pulleys but i dont know how that could be.


any pic or info would help thanks guys.

I am confused. Are you trying to run a Vett kit on an F body??

On an F body the Procharger is driven by a seperate pulley that bolts to the fron of an ATi Dampener.

If you are planning on using a F body kit the crank pulley you have is wrong

I can't find a pic of my 8 rib set up but that smaller pulley hanging off the front is what turns the head unit and that is the only thing it turns.

I hope my super dampner is not wrong, i got it from bob and it's a 8 rib... and the kit that i bought i called and procharger said it was for a Fbody from the serial # but the way that your belt lines up in this picture is the way that it looks like it would line up on mine. now looking at it i think i might of got the wrong dampner and its pined in hahaha


so maybe i just need a new front dampner with a 6 rib for the middle pulley and a 8 rib in front of that???

here is a pic of the dampner installed before i installed the alt, power steering pump and idler

If that dampener you got is 8 rib then you got the wrong one.

The picture I used is of a stock crank pulley and Prochargers 6 rib add on pulley.

The ATi balace should be a normal 6 rib where the regular belt runs then you bolt another pulley to the front of it to drive the Procharger

so are there 3 pulleys coming off the crank because if so than that is the problem because i only have two and the secound one is a 8 rib which sounds and looks like it should be the 3rd pulley to run the 8 rib head unit. i think bob might of sent me the wrong one (corvette one)

Yep it should be from block out 4 rib for AC 6 rib for normal accessories then 8 rib for the Headunit

Yea it looks like you have the from damper. Like said above there is three belts used total. Maybe they shipped you the wrong damper.
