Need help finding a turbo cam
Car is a LS3 twin turbo setup. Running 57mm turbonetics
Block is stock for now and only plan on running 8 psi. I currently have a tsp 231/236 in there but was told that the pressure would be too high if I used that cam for my turbos.
Id like a cam that has a lopey idle like my 231/236.
Any recommendations or you tube idle videos anywhere?
the real answer is what do you want, max power, drive-abilty or just a lumpy idle and you dont care...
because something as simple as a ls6 cam has some decent idle lump...
i would reccomend a ls9 cam but that has nearly a stock idle.
its a cheap item and easy swap on a ls3.
If your not looking for max power, just something that runs good and sounds great, then just stay with that cam and spend the money on something else.
Heck, you might be surprised on how well it runs.
http://www.speedinc.com/saleitem.cfm Their cams are about halfway down.
TU2 236 236 .587 .587 112.5
I'd say run what you have too and see how you like it. You can always change it out later if you aren't happy with the total power.

If everything is already bolted together and running it would be sheer lunacy to rip it apart for a cam swap without trying it first.
And with relatively small turbos and low boost, there really isnt any need to worry about the LSA of your cam. Stick with it, it will work fine.
