I'm hoping to be dragging it out of its current resting place in the next few weeks. I'll probably be putting the rear suspension back together on it in the at the end of this month then getting it rollbacked to my house to start teardown (had good LCAs and PHR when I last drove it 15yrs ago but sold those suspension components). I did give it a quick once over and the body still looks in decent shape....some minor rust just ahead of the rear passenger wheelwell (about 2" in diameter). Whats odd is that it doesn't appear to have worsened in the last 15 years... Driver door looks rusted bad on the bottom due to seriously rotted weather stripping I presume (rotted from inside out). Hard to say what else I'll find since its impossible to see under the car in its current location.
I figure if Frank (Boosted One) can turn that rustbucket of a Chevy II into a gem....I can definately work with this LOL
I'm ashamed to show this, but when I said buried...I meant it (tires look funny since there's no PHR on the car and the rear is seriously offset as a result)

ProFlo will NOT fit under the factory hood. I have tried.
You don't need to minitub a 3rd gen to tuck a 15x10 wheel.
15x10 with a 6.5" backspace is what you will need with a stock width rear end:
Here is my 15x10.275 tucked under
Good luck trying to keep that torque arm crossmember from scraping anything higher than 3". Just be careful on the street.

Hmmm...this is owned by a new guy now, but I got my (cough cough, blown) turbo and a lot of piping from the old owner of this car. Bad *** ride, and funny as hell that I bought the turbo from him and THEN found out his car was the same damn color as mine.
And fireball, looks like a pretty nasty build!

should be picking up all the rear suspension components and turbos in two weeks. Almost finished with my pool renovation, so I can get rolling on this project pretty soon. Pretty much figured out the suspension on the car...just need to get the parts on order (will do once I get the car home)
Front:
BMR LS1 conversion K-member
BMR A-Arms
QA1 double adjustable coil over struts
Need to figure out what to do with brakes still...
Plan is to have it done by this time next year...should be a whirwind
