when the hell is this heat wave gonna break? I'm not going to be working outside in the garage when its mid 90s out and 100% humidity

Planning on pulling it in the garage this weekend (supposed to be a bit cooler) and start ripping out the power/drivetrain. still has a 400small block in it (just the shortblock), T350 trans and 10bolt. That along with the front kmember and suspension has to GO

Hopefully my BMR Kmember and SFCs will show up early (bought from Jegs on my racer's discount) and estimated ship date was 7/25.

If they show up early, then I can get the LS2 mockup block and glide in place to start figuring out what I have to work with

You don't need to minitub a 3rd gen to tuck a 15x10 wheel.

15x10 with a 6.5" backspace is what you will need with a stock width rear end:

Here is my 15x10.275 tucked under

Good luck trying to keep that torque arm crossmember from scraping anything higher than 3". Just be careful on the street.
He is correct I used to roll around HS with a set of 15x10.5's 295/50's on back of my killer 2.8 five speed 1989 RS They were centerline hellfires I think so long ago but positive they were 10.5" and a 8" front rim.

worked on it all morning. Got the old SBC shortblock, the old T350 tranny and the stock k-member out and did a bit of cleaning until I cut my finger pretty bad on a sharp edge . 28 years of grime sucks to clean

Got the BMR k-member installed. Need to get some long bolts so I can install bolt the ls2 mockup block into the chassis...
