How much did you pay for the 5.3? My ls1 has alot of miles on it. Thinking about slowly piecing together a 5.3 turbo setup.

Are you going to do anthing to cover the turbo exhuast side to protect from heat? with it being so close to the radiator and that upper hose I would worry it would bake some of those things. Getting close!!!

Another small update:

I picked up my ASP pulley/Hurst 1/4 stick and ordered 80lb injectors/fans and all the intercooler piping yesterday!

Things left to do:

Make oil feed/drain
Install injectors
Wire up fans
Fab coldside
Install shifter
Fill with fluids and hope for the best!

Hoping to have it up and running in next 2 weeks!

we had a 340 in tank in one of our builds, car made 590rwhp on the dyno but only made it about half track before dropping fuel pressure and kicking a rod lol

Working on firing the car up, tracking down a wiring issue that i still cant figure out, for some reason no power is getting to the starter, but thats another story!

Im also still waiting on my IC piping to show up, once it does i can go ahead and throw that together as well.....

Changed my mind on the shifter i wanted, i ended up going with the B&M Pro Ratchet
