jdp, with a turbo setup, they can be touchier to tune initially. After you get the car tuned, you should be good until your next major mod. You will have to re-tune if you add more boost(especially if you upgrade your injectors, they HAVE to be adjusted in the pcm), or something along those lines. However, that rule applies to any of the routes you are talking about.....S/C, T/C, or big cubes. Tuning isn't an everyday thing unless you are sitting down with your Autotap and your own copy of LS1Edit on a laptop and are trying to dial in your own tune....then you could/will be messin with it constantly. Get a good dynotune and call it a day either way you decide to go.

In theory yes, but not that it can't or doesn't exist, but I have yet to see 450rwhp S/C cars in the 10's. Many H/C cars are there. Seems to me that 550rwhp all motor is in the capability of 9's but FI is more like 700rwhp+ to get there like opticZ. I like the idea of returning the car to stock to get your money out. The S/C will sell right away while a big cube motor that is stuck in a car is a tough sell according to these forums.

I thought I would bring this up to the top. W/ cheaper turbo kits coming out/being out, and some of our sponsors offering great deals on complete engines anymore, is there any more of a difference b/w the two than there was before? I am trying to wade through all the posts on this right now trying to decide what to do in the spring, h/c my 346, just buy a stroker, or buy a forged 347 or so and turbo it...
