Maybe if you left on 9 lbs and hooked it, it might get down there in those numbers.

Off topic: A buddy of mine just picked a 92 GT mustang in real good condition for 200 bucks and I have an LS1 laying in the garage next to some 317 heads. I think we might have to do some wrenching since you have posted this thread up.
You are right on the 10.50's being an issue but I see very similar builds with smaller ls6 cams and 2-400 more lbs than mine hitting 126-128mph the first pass they make. If I can get that mph and come off the brake at 9lbs I think it may go even faster. With the old 302 set up the car weighed 3020lbs with me in it, full interior minus radio. I now have a tubular front end, a arms, coil overs and an aluminum block. I have tubular front and rear bumpers on the way and I am going to trim the crash bars out of the doors. I also ditched the air bagged steering column for an older tilt wheel. The only weight I added would be the th400 over the c4, and the stereo. Bringing the car home from my buddies shop soon so hopefully this build will get finished sometime before summer.
P.S. I also lost 30lbs

How much clearance do you have from the pan to ground with the fbody pan? Think a truck pan would have worked with your set up?

I had the truck pan on it but it was way too low maybe a couple of inches or so. My car sits as low as it can in the front though.

So I picked up a Holley HP unit from 9sec93. I can't wait to see how this box works.

Default First start with the Holley.

Here is the first start video. I tried to get it running on one of the global folders but I think I corrupted it somehow. I took the tune that it came with and changed a few of the constants to match my engine parameters and what you see here is the very first attempt at trying to start the car. So far this Holley system has been amazing. I need to swap to a cooler thermostat, wire the fan, put drive shaft in with the tranny cooler and some fluid and I'm on the road. The second stall was my fault I hit the ignition key with my knee when getting out of the car. Here is a link to the video.

Here is another video with a few blips of the throttle. This Holley system is amazing so far. With the 3 revs the car already started learning. List of things to do before it makes it's first road trip.
Install drive shaft, tranny cooler, shifter linkage and fluid.
Secure fuel lines at front of car and mount the fan.
Run some vacuum lines and install the speedo cable.

Not much of an update but the car is running and driving now. Still need to do some odds and ends and work on the boosted part of the tune some. Car seems to pull pretty hard even N/A.

Got the new coil overs, single adjustable struts and caster camber plates on it. Hopefully I can get the flaming river rack and shaft in tonight as well.

Thanks, she did her first burnout today. Even without the turbo hooked up she's a beast.

Well I had this sitting in the basement so I figured why not. I also moved the alt. back over to the drivers side with the stock mount cut down.

Well after much debate I found what I feel is the best spot to mount the Holley DIS coils. What a mess. I just used some shitty wires that I had off my 302. I'm hoping that a set of black plug wires won't look so shitty. At least they should stay cool up by the cowl.

I know it looks like ****. Only other option was to mount them on the frame rails and run the wires under the engine. I didn't go that route because of the heat they would be exposed to. I'm going to get some black cut to length wires so I can route them better. Hopefully it will look cleaner. I should have kept the blow through setup and had a nice clean engine bay.

So my buddy is going to trade me his 76mm for my 70mm. If all goes well maybe I can do a back to back session with them on the dyno soon.

Not so good, lol. I ended up spending a little more to do it right. I went with a high end th400, PTC converter, holley hp with coils over the mega/msd, coilovers, tubular a arms, ls1 intake with aftermarket rails etc. If I didn't spend so much on the transmission and Holley I would be close to even. Once my car is sorted out the young lads car is getting a 5.3 with just valve springs and a gt45 with a 4l80 with a shift kit nothing else. That one shouldn't cost too much.
PS- you get any new track times with the new turbo yet?
