Well, I think she's ready to rip. Sat and let it idle for about 20 minutes in the drive way to double check for any kind of leak, smells, burns etc. Also let the system get up to temp so I could make sure there were no air bubbles. She got up to 215 and went right back down to 200. That damn valve cover is still weeping in the same place. Time to put some rtv on it and call it done Long as the weather is nice next week I'm hoping to get a final tune done it and see what she puts down.

Anyway, here's and idle clip from earlier.

Yep. We'll see, hopefully I don't have to rebuild anytime soon. But I do get bored pretty easy.

Sounds mean! Is Brett going to tune it? We have a new LSx tuner over here in Tulsa now. Seems like a cool guy.

Congrats on the OKC, putting the spurs down.

What day are you planning on tuning it and how much boost are you planning to run? I forgot if I asked it already or not, if I did my bad.

Thunder Baby!!!!

I'm going to be dropping it off with him for a week so he can drive it and tidy up the driveability, cold and hot start etc. He's one of my good friends so I don't mind leaving it with him. As for dyno tune, not sure what day that'll happen. There is a big corvette show next weekend, so I may just wait and take it to him the week after now so I have the car for my store's booth at the show.

Don't know exactly. But I'm figuring in the 21-24psi. Hell it may make 25 or better, won't know 'till we lean on her.

25 would be But I don't think there is a snow ball's chance in hell that it'll make that kinda boost. I'd love to see the number in my head achieved about 21psi.

Well dropped it off with the tuner yesterday. We tried to make a few pulls, but the car was not cooperating at all. We did manage to get one pull to 4,000. So we called it a day and he's gonna work on it the rest of this week. Hoping to have some numbers thursday.

Well, we're almost done with the tuning. And I'll be damned if it didn't make 24psi! We were only able to take it to 6,600 rpm. Right at that rpm it would just stop and kick itself into "reduced power mode" and throw the 1514 code. It was maxing out the field (i forgot which one he said it was) So he's gonna scale it tomm and make some more pulls and see where she ends up. Looks like its gonna top out around 7,000-7,100.

Oh and I had built a 3.5" blower inlet with the A&A air filter on it. I can't believe how much it was restricting it. We picked up 193 rwhp by taking the inlet off! Freaking crazy.

But right now I'm pretty happy with the current power. Its picking up 33rwhp with every 2 degrees of timing and we're at 18 right now. We're tuning it on VP110.

Final numbers are in.

952/788. I'm pretty happy so far. I'm ready to drive it and see how it feels. My IAT's were insane, 160*. So I'm gonna get the water/meth pump replaced and strap it back down to see if we can crack the 1k mark.

And here's the graph. Don't mind the 6,500 cut off, the dyno lost signal.
