Ok, to help you guys help me.lol I only ask because, I'm told I should run 10lbs of boost because of my Si5 cam. Can you still run a bypass valve that's for applications from 12lbs and up. On what I'm trying to accomplish which is gonna be lower at 10lbs. I do want to vent into the atmosphere but do I need an sd tune for that. So basically yeah I know I need an open bypass valve. I've read and searched but this is what happens when you read too much I guess.lol

Do yourself a favor. Get the procharger big red race valve and never look back. I have both versions and they work flawless. It will handle whatever u throw at it, in the present or future. I've never heard of needing a SD tune to run a bov vented to the atmosphere, lol. If your tuner told u that need to stRt looking for a new tuner ASAP

X2

The big red bypass is way to go, also venting it to the atmosphere will help the air inlet temps stay lower. Your not returning the hot air right back in to the blower, Also mount the bypass before the intercooler this will also keep the intercooler colder until you go WOT.

Would that be on the pipe coming from the supercharger before entering the intercooler? Thanks bro.

Yes, in between the head unit and the intercooler inlet if you have room in your plumbing. This isn't a must but every little bit helps.

The more psi you run the louder it will be of course. The close version has more of a whistle too it. The open version is loud all the time and cracks when u shift.
