yeah my D1 install, and everything that goes with it totals like this.

d1 with fmic and injectors ----6750+
Blower Cam---$ 389.00
Rx Catch Can----$200+
3 Bar MAP---$ ??? i dont remember
Aster Bracket---$715
Blower Pulleys $60-70 i think
alkycontrol 600ish
boost gauge, fuel pressure, 02 wideband and pillar---425ish +install $200
racetronix pump and hotwire --- 200ish
new fuel setup is going to be around 1100-1500 with injectors, rails, and dual in tanks and SSB lines
torque converter was 500 from PTC (great freakin converters highly underrated)
performabuilt level 3 is around $2300 + Trans BRake upgrade ???
Lingenfelter 2 step ----$200 ish
MWC fab 9 rear end and suspension/bells whistles $Powdercoating the charge pipes black- 4200
$100
Install---I did my own thank god
AES 390/PRC 237 heads etc etc..... $8500+
Weld RTS & Hoosiers ---$1300ish
Dyno tuning---$500-$600ish
Then you factor in car payments (almost done with mine)
And fuel costs
Bills
Groceries etc

you get the idea. add on small tools youd need, gaskets and strange miscellaneous things and you really start getting the picture. this does not include all the work done back when it was just a 228r bolt on TA. all those gears, shift kits, and etc.....are now useless.

since your motor can the handle the power it makes things easier but it really comes down to how much cash you have to blow. A procharger will be the most expensive but easy to install. A truck manifold turbo setup can be done for less if you have the ability to do the work yourself. I spent $6k from beginning to end on my turbo build. Nitrous is by far the the cheapest (at first) and easiest but every single person complains about bottle refills and if you do it long enought, youll have spent more than going FI.

if it was my dd, id probably go nitrous. if you can pick up a reliable second car, go FI

i second this jose its much better to go turbo i am running dope cause im po lmao but if i had the cash id be turbo'd

but fyi on the spray im close to the numbers you are trying to achieve
if your going spray use arps head studs n i am also currently running the ls9 head gaskets its a bad *** 7 layer gm gasket and it will hold lots of boost or spray without a prob

the spray rolls out hard on the hit i raped a tt viper on my set up

either way you should be happy but if you got the cash go for broke and get a nice turbo set up with a proper size intercooler

Damn a monster 5 bro **** i was gonna go with a 3 possibly a 4 for there "stickier material" PM me your number got some questions on your build as far as boost it WILL be done eventually but probably not now i can afford it but dont know if i can afford the down time involved in it few buddies run boost and they spend a good majority of their time doing repairs or trying to their tune right either way ill be happy i have decided to go with masts 215 cathedral due to the ls3 head being a tad much on a 347 may just add a direct port pill it at 250 and go ***** out

d1sc here to with an M6 and love the drivability and performance of my car as well. So much so that I drive my car approx 3 days a week to work round trip approx 100 miles. But I have sheld out some coin to sort out and replace parts that haVe failed due to the increase in power. You will definately enjoy the d1sc, as so many of us have and do, but have some reserves to shell out in the beganing. GOOD LUCK!!

because a lot of us build our own kits and that usually comes with unforeseen issues that we find out about shortly after getting it running. The usual procharger issues deal belt slip, and that doesnt keep you from driving your car.
