Twin TC-67 ball bearing turbos vs twin TC-76 journal bearing turbos. Which would you choose? I have both of them.
App is my '08 Z06. 427/tfs 245s/tr6060..100% street car/from roll racing.
Reason I'm considering it is I have a C5 with a powerglide I could use the bb 67s on and be legal to race in some classes. It'll be quicker even with a little less power because of the glide.
Edit* I'm not asking which size would be better for which. I guess I should have asked, what are the merits of a dbb turbo over a journal bearing turbo?

408 in the C5- 9.5:1 with TFS 245s
427 in the C6 Z0- 9.5:1 with TFS 245s Almost apples to apples in the power production department. I just never read much about dbb turbos. I knew they were able to spool easier, just wondered if they were "better" as far as durability.
Disclaimer- I do not have an engineering degree.
I will be back again in July buddy.

Yes they are. I know this is for garrett turbos but here is some info. http://www.turbobygarrett.com/turbob..._ball_bearings
I dont think you will have a problem with durability with either of those turbos though.
