As the title says...
What rwhp are yall making on your stock short block 5.3s?
And what heads, cam, intake/tb and form and amount of boost and type of fuel?

The few I've stumbled across on here usually make 450-475rw with stock or
factory Z06 cam (yellow springs) and 8-10 lbs of boost on 93 octane.
It's almost impossible to keep a boosted LS under 600 flywheel ponies.

Just had a Fox Mustang on the dyno the other day with a stock 100K+ mile 5.3 with a single plane tall elbow cam and throttle body with a S475 on 12psi made 565rwhp through a TH400 on my Dyno Dynamics on E85. I didn't get aggressive with timing either, it was only running 12* or so just to be safe cause he was out of injector and pump. Max'd 80lb Siemens injectors out on a Magnafuel 4301 with a base pressure of 58psi boost referenced. He took it to the track and launching it off idle and coming into boost about 60' out on 6psi it still ran a 6.4 @ 114mph with almost a 3000' DA! Raceweight is just over 3000lb's.

Damn!! I've got the same turbo going on a cammed L33 in a 240sx witha glide. Was gonna let Anthony Peck tune it but that's a nice trap you got there. might have to get with you.

Hoping my 80s will be good for a touch more than 600 hp on e85. If not I guess it will be time to upgrade.

Anthony tuned your car didn't he? He said you were at 95% duty cycle with 96lb(@3bar) injectors. What was your base fuel pressure? I just got a S475 and I'm trying to decide on injectors. I was suprized when he said your duty cycle was that high with 96lbers on E85 at that power level on a dynojet.

BTW, you're about to hurt some people's feelings around the 502! Congrats man.

78 trans am, stock 5.3 bottom end with 30k, custom ground cam, ls9 gaskets, head studs, edelbrock intake, rear mount comp oil less turbo, inter cooler, 20lbs of boost, 759hp/670tq thru th400, and a 9" rear. Done by unleashed performance, tuned by Rob Raymer.
Enjoying the crap out of it, putting a 2 step on it this week and a new fuel pump.

JY 5.3L, truck intake, custom Martin Cam, S475 T6 1.32, TH400, 9" rear
15 PSI made 698 RWHP on pump 91 and meth. Wanted to take it to 20 PSI but boost controller was maxed out and had limited time on dyno. Made 3 back to back pulls with minor fuel/timing adjustments between each. No track time yet but will as soon as winter is over.
