I think the more important logistical issue is what to do about the inlet on the bigger blowers since the radiator is precariously close to the blower. Of course then there's the issue of the limits of the 8-rib belt.

Do they make a narrow cog setup that's about the width of an 8-rib?

Yes the inlet is what kills you. I got my F1A on and it was hitting every damn thing. My mod this winter will definitely be a griffin stand up and FLX fan setup with a 4" inlet hat.

I ran the F1R with it. And as far as inlets, I just moved the lower portion of my radiator and condencer forward leaving the upper part in stock location. Trimmed part of the core support and used 4" almuinm 90 and a few other bends to place a Large 4" dry filter on there. Worked great for me 1035rwhp on 93 and meth. That was 17-18lbs of boost on a 427. Good luck.

Now that's something to look forward to. Were you still using an 8-rib pulley?

Yeah 8-rib stock Procharger crank 7.65" and 4.25" blower pulley so it had more in it if I wanted to try for more at the time.

Yeah I sold the car and the set up so I don't think I have anything to show you. But I'm sure I posted pictures of everything at one point and time. So if you do some digging under my older posts you'll probably find it etc... Sorry. GL!

The F-1A with the stock radiator works out okay, the clearance will just be tight. To the OP, the F-1A can get your car into the 8's in the 1/4. Unless you have a six bolt block/head combo, or a monster cube combo, the F-1A will make all the boost your 4 bolt engine can handle. Bob
