Default Help with gear selection
408 91mm fm, full weight, th400 with brake, street car.
Car made 863 with a 6 speed. Has 4.10 gear right now and it's a dump truck. This is primarily a Street/grudge car. Will make some 20-30 mile cruises and plenty of 40-50 mph roll races. What gear do you recommend? I'm leaning towards 3.42. Help will be appreciated

Id go 3.27s with a 26" tire or 3.42 with a 28" tire. You have the power and torque that will do the work for you.

If it's a 9" do a 3.25 if it's a 12 bolt do a 3.23.
