Its a Futral F13-114 cam. The engine is a 5.3L stock and i am almost ready to install a 72mm turbo. I dont know if this cam is too big or if i would have to cut notches in the pistons for piston to valve clearance????? I am obviously hoping i could install it with some new valve springs and pushrods and then tune away. I dont even know if this is a solid or hydraulic roller to be honest. Here is the specs for the cam. It will go in a 80 Z28. Please give your opinions. Thanks
FMS-F13-114 FMS custom grind camshaft- 230"/232" .595"/.585" 114 LSA-
aggressive profile with a 2500-6800 rpm range, rough idle

Are you running a 5.3L engine also? Did you have to modify anything to run the cam like notch the pistons or is there good PTV clearance from the factory?

You will be ok with piston to valve clearance. Ls platform engines with the 15 degree valve angle can get away with a lot more lift than the old 23 degree sbc. I run a 237 241 .603 .609 113 lsa ln my 5.3 , it works surprisingly well with boost.
