There is nothing wrong with that air filter. It may need cleaned more often but on a stock motor I can't see it hurting things much.

Besides that what do you expect? This is the cheapest easiest way to turbo a motor. Great product. Keep it up!

sounds about right. i made 430 on 3lbs but with 15 degrees of timing.

on 91 octane, i would not push for 600 unless you have meth.. you will need closer to 19degrees of timing to hit make that and i wouldnt even think about that on pump. i made 600 with 18-19 degrees on E85

also, the spring the JGS comes with is only 3-4psi spring. It should have come with another one that will give you about 9psi.

Looking really good so far. I'm interested to see what kind of numbers you put down as I have the same hot side and turbo. My build is about to get back into swing now that I have some time off. If you use a 4" 90* elbow you can fit a monster air filter with plenty of room. Good luck with the rest of your build!

I don't have my car completely together yet but I have two friends using this turbo, one front mount one rear, and both are making over 500 rear wheel with basically stock long blocks. Sorry for the thread jack OP.

Does this kit have any kind of intercooling? Do you have to remove your front swaybar?

Yes, all truck manifold kits require the removal of the sway bar.

We can provide an intercooler kit or you can make your own.

the best place to tap in for wastegate boost reference is on the compressor housing...i would check for boost leaks in your system...als make sure that your fire ring is installed on the wastegate...its the ring that sits between ther WG and your mounting flange on your hotside
