Default High mileage 317's for FI?

Can anyone tell me if there is a downside to using high mileage 317's (280,000 miles) on a turbo build? I am looking to lower compression and have milled 799s with double valve springs and ls7 lifters with cam right now. If i swap all the moving parts from my current heads to the 317's would there by any foreseeable problems? I guess I am asking do cast heads wear out in any way?
