it really sucks hanging 106lbs on the nose of a car that your trying to make faster. but all said and done with no special mods done to the ls2 block vs the cast iron 6.0, I would feel alot safer pushing 12-1500hp through the cast iron block before taking a chance of splitting the much lighter aluminum ls2 block, or is the ls2 just as strong?
