for those who dont use exhaust rings on the bumper/fender, did you have any problems with paint discoloring or flaking off?

I have done this to some other cars as well with no issues of flaking/discoloring paint!

I'm suprised there isn't more guys that have a setup like mine. Seriously one of the best mods I did was to connect to my catback and put in a cutout.

I plan on doing mine very similar to how you've done yours.

I would like to keep my stock center mount cat-back incorporated, but I feel the 2.75 piping will choke the turbo. Gotta find a good muffler with 3-1/2-4" inlet with dual outlets for the stock tips to work.

Would running a 3" exhaust back into a catback be choking the car down? LQ4, turbo cam, tc78 turbo 8-10 psi. I'll most likely purchase a 3" cutout as well but would still want the car be able to breathe without having to open the cutout.

This is my older setup. Now I will be running just a straight 5" DP out the fender. This is a 5" to a 4" to a Magnaflow muffler. The full exhaust setup is actually for sale.

has anybody tried to do the exhaust to dump out the trap door on the bottom of the bumper where you access the fog lights on the camaro's? was thinking about trying to do that to keep from cutting a hole in the bumper or fender...

This one we made to dump behind the bumper out of site. 4". It also has an electric remote cutout so when shut it runs 3.5" out the rear through regular exhaust for street driving.
