Yeah the vid of the green Ty coming off the converter smoking all fours was better than sex! Well, maybe for a little while .

I have heard that the tcase from the Ty is a little stronger than the sy tcase. John Waller told me that. He is a big syty guy.

The ty transfer case has 3 clutches 32 splines vs 2 clutches 27 splines in the sy.

I have a few projects I am getting done with before I can put all my focus into the Sy. Right now I am designing a Quick spool valved turbo manifold in my FD RX7, but it is almost wrapped up.

The Sy will be a bigger project, gotta get the small ones in and out before tear down begins! I am still collecting all the parts up for the build.

On Friday 5/3/13 the 5.3 block bolts to the 700R4 for the engine mounts to be fabricated and installed.

On Saturday 5/4/13 it too 3 hours of midnight madness to get the engine mounts installed. First they are tacked into place. When the engine comes back out, they will also be bolted in to prevent broken motor mount welds down the road.

Small update!

Still collecting Camaro parts to gain some clearance. Truck accessories are pushed further forward.

Got the drivers side turbo manifold all tacked up. Still need to place the external wastegate. The steering shaft didn't even have to be removed to do the manifold! You can pull this manifold out and put it in without messing with the stock steering shaft!

Thanks! If you ever need a small truck, don't hesitate and get one. I love mine. It has been solid reliable! I just got inspired by Speed Inc and decided to do a little updating .

Passengerside turbo mounted! Waiting on the corvette, accessories and damper. Hopefully next week I'll have the manifolds all welded up!

Where can I get some information the 5.3 wiring harness? I would like to eliminate all the not needed BS so I can fabricate/simplify a harness to make it fit the truck. The FAST XFI is a big chunk and it doesn't control the coils or transmission. By the time I get all three computers, its over $3K!

I had a lot of stuff going on but managed to do the custom radiator and dual electric fans. Also got in the Wiseco 9-1 compression drop in pistons and their K1 connecting rods.

Next is getting the turbo manifolds all welded up and the external gates mounted.
