changed the hot side end tank on the air/liquid IC. Mounting location allowed for bigger tank which is better for flow.

Also had to cut and angle the Tstat housing. Also turned the barb on a lathe to the same dimension as the radiator tubing. I don't know what type of aluminum this was but it welded like cheap, contaminated pot metal lol.

Next is mounting the intercooler. I have to finish the inlet tank then put the bumper back on to check for clearance when doing the outlet side end tank. After that I guess the upper IC pipe will be fabbed up.

I thought you had forgotten you created this. How did I miss so many posted updates? I still get first test pass right?

Well, better get after the interior as well then. I think you'll have the power to take a GTR, but the modern interior in the GTR is nice! You'll be able to roll all over a GTR IMO!

haha. I'll probably do the first test passes, but for the high power pass you can have at it!

Its not worth 60-90K for modern interior . These trucks plant the power well like the GTR. I asked my wife about getting a GTR and she said no, so we negotiated and I got permission to put whatever I wanted in the truck . Its more expensive than I had anticipated but definitely will be more bang for the buck vs. R35. I have been wanting to build a V8 for a long while!

Well, you will for sure have 2 things going for you here:

1) your cost will be MUCH less than a GTR
2) the Sy is the coolest truck on the planet still. IMO.

I love the Sy/Ty's trucks, and for a small price (considering) you could create a sweet interior.

Inlet side of the intercooler done today and also the hot side charge pipes. Everything fits perfect and all the hoses and clamps are easily accessible, now if it didn't look a little odd .

Worked on the cooler another hour today. Takes some time to do this without cutting on the truck.

After I get this intercooler piping done I am taking a break

The 2" hot side pipes may be on the small side, but I thought only 12" of length and one 90 degree bend on each side that it would be good on flow. I may just go ahead and do 2.5" inlet pipes just so there isn't a choke on flow. What do you guys think?

I went ahead and put 2.5" hot side intercooler pipes on. Now I am working on fitting 4" inlet and 2.5 outlet T04E compressor covers on the turbos to match the 2.5" IC pipes. I also wanted to bring the turbos up another 2.5-3 inches. Hoping the fender liners won't have to be majorly fabricated to go around the down pipes and turbine housings. That extra room will make it easy to put in a flex section for the wastegates to recirc into the down pipes.

Update:

3.5" upper ic pipe completed. Got a 1/8 NPT bung welded for methenol injection and did the bracket to keep the rattles away.

T04E 4" inlet 2.5 outlet compressor housing fitted on the 60-1. 2.5 intercooler pipe completed on the drivers side. Also extended the drivers side manifold and brought the turbo up about 3 more inches.

Next will be the down pipes with the wastegate recirc tubes. Got the 44mm Vbands and flex sections in transit.
