You have the order of things wrong with regard to how these assemble.
The factory connector is completely different. They do not assemble the same.
And again function will be correct.

Most guys would have bought adapters and had a jungle laying all over the motor or
cut plugs off a car at the bone yard and had 10 lbs of butt connectors laying everywhere.

But this guy takes the time to look up the plugs, pins, seals and buys the tool
to produce a factory connection.

And you are going to nit pic it, REALLY!!!

They are crimped correctly.

If you build those without crimping the rubber insulator, they will pop out and/or allow water to get in.

My tuner friend and I started the car last night. Its been a long time coming. Everything seems good on the motor. Good oil pressure, no leaks, and the biggest thing I was happy with was all the new gauges and fuel pump, new 3 bar map, and all factory stuff worked. The magnafuel 4303 pump is the noisiest thing I have ever heard!
My tuner friend wants to Dyno tune the first of next week if all goes well.

Drive it more you will, after you feel the force.

How can a thread like this loose 7 places in 15 mins?

Maybe you need to change the title to What Saws-all blades are you guys using?

LMAO!!!

I believe thread titles are key. Yes if it said "less that 5000 mile car, I gutted it, made it a ***** for under $2000" this would be page 100. LOL!

We didn't take any. It was 11:00 last night and we just wanted to know that it would run okay before I load it on the trailer to haul it to the Dyno. Its 45 miles so we didn't want to be there working on leaks when I would be there to tune. Not too big of a deal but didn't want the hassle.
How is your car coming? Been following it for a while. I'm anxious to see how this TR6060 shifts.

The cam is custom ground. It's 238/237 .60x lift on 115. Supposedly the guy who spec'ed it knows his stuff when it comes to turbos. He wanted all the particulars about the build and we will see if all the hype was for real when this hits the rollers. Which should happen this week.

Yes on no butchering. I could not stand the idea of standing the radiator up. No matter how good it looks it will make it a challenge to keep cool and near impossible if you have A/C.

I understand you are proud of this kit, but not everyone who turbos their vehicle has the money to buy the kit. And a lot of people don't want to keep ac etc. maybe no one wants to comment on this thread because you have made a bunch of hack job references for people who don't use the 10k+ turbo kit. After fabricating every inch of my own twin turbo system on my car I know the effort it takes to build one. I know you have a lot more time and effort in this system but I don't see a reason to continually point out that all other turbo kits are built with a saws-all.

On a lighter note this is an amazing car, I might have missed it but what are your et goals when you get the car together? And how easy are the id2000 to idle tune? good luck with the rest of the build and look forward to some results!
