I think Wolfe ran the MSD back a few years ago in that BBC turbo mustang that he set the drag radial record with.

yes i had heard he was or is using the MSD as well. And i have a couple fellow racer friends who got me to go with it on my just completed build. 1 is running the MSD on a 7sec turbo LS mustang, the other just sold a very low 8 sec turbo LS mustang and now has a 900+rwhp twin turbo LS street car mustang with it that he drives very regularly and activates it on the street with good results. They both swear by it as being a great piece and a great bang for the buck setup if someone isn't running co2. Just surprised more aren't.

I went with the boost leash, it appealed to me the most. I think its a pretty good value, & like I said earlier the 275 record holder uses one. 4.43 in the 1/8th. That's about a 6.86 in the quarter.

i agree it looks like a hell of a deal but i have no interest in running a co2 set up at this time and my buddy found an MSD new in the box for $310 shipped so i couldn't resist it.

I gotcha. I was against a CO2 controller too but my friend who has an AMS100 on his car talked me into the boost leash, it doesn't use as much as you think it does. I drive mine to the gym & grocery store still, lol, without it on it makes what ever boost the spring in the gate will make.

Of course it is.

You could make 1000+ and not use any form of complex controller.
