It looks like a custom chiseled piece.

Thinking just the chassis is way more money than my entire build! Simply beautiful motor!

Default More progress pics

We made a new smooth firewall with recessed pockets for the coil packs

Also needed to raise the trans tunnel so we just decided to make a new one with a removable front section......

Default Link to dyno sessions

Here is a link to the video of some of the dyno pulls.......

The videos make it look easier than it was - it took almost 100 pulls and 40gals of C16 to get it down. We didn't ring it all the way out as we didn't want to beat it up anymore before it made it into the car. These turbos will max out around 35psi so there is more power to come.

Disregard Tom's comment about it going into an Oldsmobile - it was late at night and he was delirious from getting his *** handed to him by all the "teething" issues that kept popping up.

It's been a while but in case anyone is still interested we are almost done with the fabrication stage of the build........

Seam sealed/primed firewall, Wilwood master cylinder, and steering linkage

DSide downpipe mockup

PSide downpipe mockup

3" to 3.5" transition from turbo (for future upgrades)

Transition from round to oval tubing

Borla mufflers

3.5" tubing over the rear (this was a major pain but it clears)

Overall the exhaust is tucked between the cage and the body - it won't even be visible unless you roll under the car

Few more misc progress pics.....

Heat exchanger mounted under trunk floor for liquid intercooler....

Tubular radiator mount

Bell crank throttle linkage - this took some heavy duty thinking to figure out - Alec is smarter than me.......what can I say?

Bulkhead for AC lines thru firewall

Removable trans crossmember

It's starting to take shape. Hats off to my man Alec - the guru of fabrication!
