I want street friendly power that's no push over at the strip. It's not my DD but I drive it several times a week. Suspension is being built up at the moment. T56 Tranny will soon be the same. But the ls1 will be stock until I find a good price on a lq4/lq9. I would like to keep my gas mileage above single digits haha.

What do you think?
What gears should I go with?
What fuel system? 60lbs flow matched injectors and walbro 255/Hotwire?
Inline or In tank? Or both?

I would also like to be able to install it myself/with my buddies in my garage.
I believe that I would be willing to go FMIC but I don't know how much fab work that would require.

My ultimate goals are 10s or under at the quarter mile at full weight, but I know my engine is not capable of that right now. So well look at around 120mph and around low 11s

Testimonials would be nice :$

I'd say a d1 procharger for your goals. Unless your familiar with turbo charging can give Bob @ brutespeed a call hell get you on right track

A procharger will be your best bet, do it right from the start , do a d1 , front mount ic , meth , 8 rib setup with aster bracket .

Most important is the d1 with the 8 rib and aster setup . You could do the twin ics and meth or just the twin ics but deffy do the 8 rib and aster , also you could do this yourself a lot easier than the turbo.

Well i figured FMIC would give me better gains and with that and meth, my stock block will hold longer

totally , but dont skimp on the 8 rib and aster . it will make it much more fun , not having to deal with belt issues.

I have a f1c on the way. Selling point for me is that it is coming with the aster bracket. That sold me on getting it. No more belt issues. With my d1 i had nothing but belt slip on the 8 rib with the stock j bracket.

With no belt slip on 8 rib? Just get the aster bracket so when you do upgrade to f1 size it will help on higher boost.
