Default Can I achieve 800 RWHP with front mount & D-1?

I've been going back and forth with getting a front mount. Everyone tells me my 4.5 intercoolers will choke my engine and will probably yield me around 650 rwhp. With the engine I have (AES 390/220 trick fllow heads/Similar Brute Speed cam) and Alky contol (6 speed) I'm hoping to get 800 rwhp if I go front mount. I have a 3.4 pulley which will spin my D-1 at max impellar speed... What does everyone think? Let me know what RWHP everyone has seen with this type of setup.

The guy I bought my kit from was making 720 with the 3.4 pulley and meth on a forged 347 and stock 317 truck heads. He had the stock J bracket so im quite confident there was some belt slipping going on. I think 800 is possible.

It can be done. You need good static compression atleast 10.5-1 and good gas.

It can be done. Look up "Trust". He made 808rwhp through an auto to boot. I think he was slightly over spinning the blower though. I would suggest upping the blower size down the road though so your not running the D1 at peak its whole life lol.

I've seen 740 rwhp with a much milder camshaft and Patriot Stage 2 heads on a 347 with 9.5/1 compression, with a D-1SC at 16 psi. Bob

Thanks Bob I'm just making sure I can get their with the stuff I have now. Got to pay off some bills, then I'll be calling you for my front mount and race valve.. As far as the compression well I'm right around 9.5-1 so I guess I'll have to wait and see..

Yeah I'd definitely do a Fmic with that setup. That 390 needs a f1a hooked up to it! Your just gona tickle that motor right now lol.
