Recommend supercharger 500 rwhp no hood / cowl
Hello all,
Sorry for making this thread, I have been doing a bunch of research and it seems as though there are not a lot of options for F-body type superchargers because most people are concerned about hood clearance.
I have a racecar with lots of hood room, and no cowl above the motor, and I don't care if I need to cut holes in the hood.
I have a stock 2000 ls1 with upgraded rod bolts, and dry sump. I am looking for a supercharger that is comfortable around 550 to 600 rwhp, and has built in water to air intercooler. ( I have a tank and water pump from my rotary engine days for ice water.) I will run it on lower boost while my backup forged shortblock gets built for next year.
I was getting pretty interested in the magnacharger 112, but from what I have read it is a heat pump and will have troubles getting much over 500 rwhp.
This is not a daily driver, but it does get driven on the streets to the track.
If you guys have any recommendations or questions, let me know.
Thanks.

You could try a KB or Whipple truck/Vette kit but the problem then becomes pulley alignment from your crank/acc. to the S/C. Not a lot of options out there. You are better off just going with a Procharger in the long run it because it will cause you less headaches.

Hmmm, I found a interesting setup from Whipple.

Not at all sure what size I need. Looks like the 10 rib will be perfect to put in front of my dry sump pulley.
