problems with engine start

Default problems with engine start

So I went to start the car for the first time yesterday. I got the classic run for a few secconds and then shut off. Of course I figured vats. So I called the vendor that did the initial tune on my ecm, he says they definitely removed the vats. My engine scanner says there is a code for high map circuit output? So I replaced the map with a new one and the car is doing the same thing.

Can anyone tell me how to tell if the ecm was tuned for the wrong map? I have a factory map btw. How many volts should I see at the plug with key on? Any other thoughts?

is the rubber grommet on the map sensor ?

Yes rubber grommet is on. Brand new map too. I'm wondering if the computer was tuned for a two bar by mistake.

I'm only seeing one volt at the sensor with key on engine off. Is this normal for factory map?

ok scratch my previous comment. i'm getting 5 volts at the map plug, which i beleive is normal. however now my scanner is saying low circuit output. this is the only code that i'm getting. still the same symptoms too, every few starts it will fire up and run for a few seconds and then die. i'm getting 12 volts to the fuel pump, fyi. and now i'm just scratching my head again. help please.

is this forum the best place to post this? i guess i posted here b/c i'm running f/i. procharger.
