Yep exactly why I went with the turbos I did. I dont want lag and they should get me to my goal, if they dont I can just bolt in 67's.

100% my thoughts, exaggerated a bit.
In all seriousness though, that's alot of welding and they seem a little over complicated. I think some people might argue shorter primaries will make slightly more power because they lose less heat energy. Its your car and you have every right to be proud of your work.
I chose 6262's myself I think they are an excellent choice for twins on a 5.7 to 6.2 liter street engine.

I have heard that many times but why go with the crowd all the time? I want something more. Plus they look a lot nicer the a set of cast truck manifolds and allow for my choice on placement. The fabricator went kind of overboard on them trying to really be nuts but then again this is a 67 RS so a lot about the car is a step up. So truck manifolds just eh. I even have a set and put them on but they looked like crap.

To each there own.
Plug, dont truck manifolds need to be ground/cut/shaved/angle milled/flanged to fit an old F-body subframe anyways???
If so, then it would have been work regardless to get twins in the car.
Looks good!

Well been pretty busy at the shop so havent had much time to work on the car at the moment but got a few things done. The manifolds got ported and fully welded, I will have a take a picture inside the porting is awesome. Plus my bell housing came in so just a few picture updates. Painter has been delayed so wont get the car back till mid sept so just going to keep ordering parts and getting everything ready.

I understand and am more then aware that truck manifolds can be used to make power but I am looking for a little more. I could also use stock wheels and stock this and that but I am looking for a little more then that. I am not looking to copy just what the next guy did I am looking to go the extra mile to make something more, also try out a new option that who knows may blow the other setups out of the water. If I wanted to just make some power and not care about it I would do a big single like everyone else with trunk manifolds and mig weld it all and be done. I am building this as a pro touring first gen camaro muscle car. I plan on driving this car daily with ac and comforts plus I want boost early as I can not just at the top of the power band with big lag. Last I AM NOT building a drag car or dyno queen looking for driveablitly as well as that WOW that is awesome and really over the top vs the guy next to me that just did the minimum. That is more of my goals for the build.
