Project Red Headed Screamer: Destroked 6.0, 333ci 12.5:1, twin 6468s, faceplated T56

Unfortunately I did not, story of my life. I was out of fuel pump around 1000 wheel with my triple 320lph pumps, so that 1070rwhp on 20psi was the most it put down. Then, of course, I broke the car again soon after before getting around to put the Magnafuel 4703 on and turning it up.
I do plan on maxing this VSR billet 80 out though! Somewhere around 1100-1200 I would think. I just wanted to get this setup done sooner than later, so I cheaped out on the turbo for now. But it should still be a decent setup on this engine, and it will be a good one to start over with and sort the car out. The plan is eventually going up to an s485 or s488, while keeping everything else about the same, I hope.

The first setup with the PT8847 and 9.5:1 332" engine was with a stock 0411 PCM with 3 bar setup. With the twins and high 12.5:1 333", I switched to a Holley Dominator.
Working on getting an update together for this thread again, it's been a while. The time has come for a round of changes! Sold the twin turbo setup, and going back to a single turbo again. Same basic engine combo, but kind of taking what I learned with the first two variations and combining them for this one.
The new engine is going together shortly, as soon as I get a few more customer engine builds out of the garage.
So for now, here is a couple random pics of what's happening

Definitely. Sure a stock computer can work at this level, people do it often. However, I know that I would have hurt the motor if it wasn't for the Holley and closed loop fueling, when I was past the limits of the fuel pumps. Much more user friendly tuning, and changing things around. At the time I got it a few years ago, they were a bit more reasonable, especially at cost. If I was to start over now I would probably consider an MS3Pro or Fueltech as well. But still, I would say it's one of the best things I have done on the car.

Oh ok....I'm looking into a faceplated gearbox myself. American powertrain i believe has a t56 magnum with 1100 ft lbs rating or is it hp....can't remember. I was leaning towards that but still looking for whats out their as far as options go.

No sir! I can't believe it's been so long since an update again. It has been pretty slow going, same story as always, it seems to be a common theme with my thread here!
The car still hasn't seen much of any daylight since the August '15 wreck, and then that started up the v3.0 build. Life has been busy between work, and continuously doing machine work and building engines on the side for friends and customers. Also maintaining the family life with our two girls, 2 years old and 9 months old. I just recently stopped doing 95% of the side work I was doing, so that has helped get me back on track. Finally finding the time and motivation to get this thing going again.
It is still in the building process, but here are some updates since my last post, over a year ago!
- First and foremost, I gave up on the T56 life, for now anyways . Seeing as how long downtimes are when I break stuff, I figured I would be time and money ahead by sticking an auto in it. Someday when I have more time and money on my hands, I would like to revisit the manual. But Nate had a nice little EA valve body full manual built 4l80e, with a PTC 16-0 for sale, so I picked that up. I am hoping for some good consistency and reliability with it.
- I ditched the VSR 80mm/Bullseye turbine housing idea, and went straight to a Forced Inductions S485/Tial turbine housing unit from LJMS. I planned on starting out with the VS and going to an FI S400 at some point anyways, but I found out how different the compressor housing was, it wasn't going to be a drop in deal. This was also around the time the Tial Vband housings came out.
- With the help of some friends, the car is a roller again with the QP Fab 9" rear end and Viking coilovers.
- Nate at OGG fabbed up the hot side, the 8-1 header turned out great. We opted not to do sequential (primaries going into the collector in firing order), or equal length primary plumbing into the Stainless Headers collector. Mostly due to packaging and complexity. As you can see, there is already plenty going on with it. The pics don't do it complete justice, but spark plug changes are no issue, I can still fit my bear paws in there! It should still have a unique sound, and I can't wait to fire it up. As of now I believe we will change the turbo and wastegate mounting location from where it is pictured, I will update on that at a later time.
- I machined front motor plates for the car to accommodate the new 8-1 turbo setup. Passenger side plate holds the 4 stage ARE dry sump pump. I made a revision to the drivers side plate to hold the alternator. Cutting that out this week.
- The Northern triple 1" row dual pass rad is laid down in place, with a Flex-a-lite 3300cfm 15" puller. Using a rad mount Meziere pump, -12s to and from the block, -8s from each head Y'd to a -12 into the rad.
- Frozen boost type 15 A2W will be the intercooler of choice for now.
- Engine is going together now. Just have to finish up softening the chambers on the heads. The engine will be the same basic idea as it has been, destroked 6.0, just starting over fresh with a different engine. I sold off all of the old engine parts.
New major changes that my build consists of;
Gen "3.5" 6.0 iron block, with pinned Katech billet mains, BTR CA625+ main studs
C5-R heads with Ti intake/Inconel exhaust valves, 300# seat /700# open 1.625" dual springs
Jesel adjustable rockers, and Jesel solid .937" lifters
LJMS Custom solid roller cam 240/248 .700"/.700"
Callies Magnum 3.268" stroke crank
Callies Ultra H beam 6.460" rods
Custom Diamond 4.030" pistons I found used here on tech, with new .225" wall pins and Total Seal AP .043/.043/3mm rings
ARE 3 stage scavenge dry sump setup
Parallel cooling the heads with Cometic MLX gaskets
I plan on having the engine running within a month or so. I would like to engine dyno it again with the turbo as well, and max out the combination right away, so I know what it does for once! I plan on having the car ready to go for next season and start getting some passes on it.

Jakson,
Myron would have loved to see that finished. I'm friends with Eddie, the guy who bought the Silver Z06 from him. I drove it the day the truck brought it down here.
Anyway that is some really nice work.
