anyone turbo'd a 6.0 with a HX35w?

I'm not sure why anyone would do a t3 frame turbo on a 6.0L motor.... thats like putting an m62 on a vette or purposefully running a 20 shot of nitrous on any ls motor. Whats the point? The reward doesn't benefit the cost.
Might as well match a turbo to the motor and make more power and give up nothing in return. Why only wish for 450 reliable horsepower when the 6.0 can do 550 reliable horsepower all day and still spool great on a mpt70 without totally choking it out?
450 reliable horsepower can be done on a 6.0 without forced induction.

You need two turbos from a Buick GN.
Internally waste gated, compact, cheap and powerful.
They should spool very fast and make power above and beyond what you are looking for.
There are other builds out there that have GN turbos and they perform great.

"Where can I get a computer tuned?" Where do you live? HX35 IS too small. 2 of them would be good. (1) 70-76 would be great. The cost of the turbo is a very small investment in the total cost of a turbo "kit". you're going to want 60lb injectors which will give you some room to grow. dual 255 external pumps (buy an extra to carry with you) "good" 46-50mm wastegate (you will need excellent reliable boost control) cheap BOV. tuning needs to be done on a chassis dyno, if someone tells you they can do a mail order turbo tune they are full of ****. 02-04 LS6 cam and better than yellow springs(ls6) this cam won't sacrifice any torque but gain alot of power everywhere.
Remember guys this thing will be abused many times what a street or strip car will and be run at high tempertures, no to little oil pressure (without a doubt don't build it without and accumulator), dirt clogged air filter, etc... personnally I'd do an MP112 s/c before turbo and I know Derrick West, Louie Keener, Brandon Davis, Travis, etc.....
