Anyone mount a turbo in the bed yet? I've been tossing around the idea of building a 1st gen S10 with a turbo in the bed. Just trying to figure out any potential downsides besides getting rained on.

Welp...
I'm going to have a hole in my hood

I haven't clocked the compressor discharge yet, I'll finish the hot side before I worry too much about that.

Anyone know what the torque spec is for the clamp on the compressor to turbo body V-band?

The hot side is all cut and tacked, I just need to finish weld everything. I do need to add a waste gate but that won't be a big deal.
It's winter, time to start the cold side.

Hole in the hood FTW only way to go with LS-S10s.

The hard part of the hot side is done. I still need to figure out if the exhaust is going to exit the hood or the fender.

Starting the cold side. The intercooler is a Treadstone 25" X 9" single in on the passenger side and single out as you can see.

Progress is slow and steady

Did you say bed mounted turbo lol im waiting on my filter and piping to come in the mail, and im constructing a door in the bed floor
