Default eBay twin turbo kit?

I am looking at a twin turbo kit on eBay from "ko speed"? the kit comes with EVERYTHING for only 900 sounds to good to be true I was just wondering if anybody knows anything about them. I understand you probably get what u pay for but as long as it last a little while and is capable of pushing my 5.3 to 600hp I would be happy, plus I am new top the while turbo thing never had a turbo car so any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

You do get what you pay for. I've seen many of these turbos break whether its the casting or the bearing and blades. I wouldn't do it if it were me, but I'm the person who builds it right the first time with good parts so I don't regret it later down the road.

I'm with Maroon^^^^. I wouldn't buy it either. Like stated above, you get what you pay for. You want cheap, you'll get it.

Agreed. It seems like every time I see someone use one of the ebay kits it ends up being a massive pain. The two main components of this particular kit, the turbos the wastegates, are likely not worth the scrap used to make them. Some of the ebay turbos have turned out alright, but running those cheapo wastegates is really tempting fate to over-boost the crap out of your motor. And since the gauges are likely junk, you'll never even know about it.
You can buy it, and it might turn out alright for you. But most likely you'll end up replacing 3/4 of the components and will wind up being well behind in the long run.
If you want to get a 5.3 to 600rwhp, that can easily be done with a good single turbo kit. Would be a lot less complicated and not a whole lot more expensive if you do the work yourself. Especially since you would still have to fab up a hotside for this ebay kit.

not even close.. did you even read the item description?

This is obviously for small import cars
its not a turbo kit, just a punch of piping to make your own
the turbos will only support 300hp
There is not a single piece in that kit that would make it worth buying.

You need to do some more research in the stickies section...

Stickies are the threads that are at the top of this forum. Read through them.
Making 600 through a 5.3 really isn't terribly expensive in terms of FI, but that damn sure doesn't make it cheap. What kind of budget are you looking at? I would say I got away fairly cheap with decent components and am still in $3500-4000.
Don't forget, aside from the entire turbo kit, you will need lots of fuel and a good tune.
Do a lot of searching in this forum and as mentioned before, read through the stickies. There is a massive amount of information posted in here about turboing 5.3s so you should find a ton of options.
