Twin Borg Warner S472s? In a street-strip car such as a '84-'88 Monte Carlo 402-403 LS2 or 390 cid LQ9 would a pair of Borg Warner S472s be the hot ticket?
Street tune 8-10 psi would this make around 670-750 FWHP and around 820-977 FWHP with 12-16 psi?

402 and those turbo's would be insane. 1500rwhp all day if you built the bottom end right and used a good 6 bolt head and block set-up from ERL or an aftermarket block.
An o-ring set-up would also handle it with 4 bolt heads and block.
If you only want that much power though I'd use the S366's or the S467's

One of those turbos would make those numbers.
S374 @ 11ish lbs on a 330rwhp NA motor makes 603rwhp on boost. Figure your 402 makes another 100rwhp NA at least. So no doubt it make 700rwhp or maybe 750 with the right turbine and the same 11ish lbs.
That right there is 850fwhp easy.

If you want twins, a pair of 366's would be the ticket. We have made 1300+rwhp with them and had plenty left to go.
