Depends on what you want.
an LS6 or LS9 could make more peak power.
That cam will make better part throttle and off boost power with the lower duration and tigher lsa.
The two factors close the intake valve sooner and probably open the valve faster to make more cylinder pressure and increase low end power.

The little cams need more exhaust duration within reason to get any rpm out of it. Otherwise the exhaust backs up and makes power go flat.
The comp thumper line is an example of this method to get rpm w/o an early open intake (long duration) and increased reversion killing power.
The LS6 and LS9 are similar in this method also.

I think crane has that cam off the shelf or close.

First off what is the combination this is going in? That cam would work just fine in a 4.8L/70mm combo, but a little small for a 6.0L/80mm.

Why are you putting a 66mm turbo on a 6.0?

You are going to choke it to death. It might make 500hp with that turbo and the back pressure will be rediculous.

You also can't just look at a cams specs and say it's not a turbo cam, valve events and combination determine that.

5.3L is more efficient with that turbo than 6.0L's. If you want 5~600 hp that cam and turbo might work long as it's got a decent sized hot side. Times in sig with a 6.0L and 212@.050 cam, but running a larger GT76/94/.96. Spinning the turbo so hard it kills the thrust about every 10 passes at that power. Shift at 5900rpm and let it spin 6800 thru the traps.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions, if its a billet 66 from Bullseye, it could have a 83, 87 or even 96mm turbine; plenty of flow for a 6L. And the compressor would easily achieve the OP's goals as well. As for the cam, perhaps a little mild, but would be good for a daily driver in a truck/SUV or heavy automobile.

For a daily driver / off-road truck with a manual trans, a boatload of torque down low is exactly what you'd want. The "right" combo for a drag race application would be aimed significantly higher in the rpm range than what would work best for you. That cam will build tons of cylinder pressure (and thus torque) down low. With e-85 fuel to stifle the potential from knock that such cylinder pressures might cause, you've got an excellent combo IMO.

If you want to use it, just use it. Almost any cam will work very well in an LS.
