18-19 lbs of boost with a baby cam like the LS6 seems to be around 600RWHP in a 5.3L (stalled auto). 740RWHP from 30lbs doesn't seem unreal to me.

Here's proof from 5 years ago.

I didnt get a chance to see it run on Sunday, how did it do?

I'm basically troubleshooting the same issue on my 240........we're at 10# on a 70mm/5.3L setup and it only put down 390/440 through a T56. Same cam setup, spring setup, etc as you

I know in HP tuners the manifold psi read by the map is way higher than it actually is. At 5lbs it said i was making 20psi. Like cobra said, use a boost guage. It will be way more accurate

you are doing something wrong like have the wrong pid or something selected. my hptuners reads dead accurate with boost guage.

actually if you are using the beta hptuners you and converting to psi you need to convert the kpa to psi by dividing by 6.895 to get psi in a boost gauge type pid. i had to go through this when i converted to beta. even if i selected psi for units it reported kpa regardless so my boost guage pid was way way off.

on second note the the psi read by the map sensor is absolte so seeing 20 psi - 5 would be right considering atmosphere is 14.7.... you need to make a custom boost guage pid and subtract 14.7 to get "boost". the 2bar map sensor is just reporting actual manifold pressure...

Yeah i don't have the beta but i haven't done anything to the pid to fix it so it reads correctly cause i don't care to. I just keep an eye on the boost guage. I was just saying that because maybe he didnt change anything in the program to get it to read accurately.
