I wish it didn't get too hot here or we had dry heat.

still have my ac,abs,ps,all stock electronics. can't imagine having a newer street car without it. if i wanted a cruiser i'ld just buy a 67 camaro and build a muscle car. nothing i like better than passing a guy with the windows up, cruise on, a/c blowing cold, tunes cranking. plus, my wife would NEVER go with me without air can't imagine taking a 500+ mile trip without it. maybe the question should be a street car vs a daily driver.

I think it depends on where you live....if you live way south (like Texas/Arizona/Florida) you will likely keep A/C....If you live in a very rainy area or a very snowy area, you might be more likely to keep ABS, etc.

The only thing I got rid of was the abs. Still have power steering, ac (because I live in the midwest), cd player, leather and ttops. I have a 6 point cage that is going in the car because my local track is kinda strict.

no gutting here. My car has heat, p/s, nice cd player/stereo and componets with a sub in the back, full interior/leather seats with a 10 point cage. Only thing it doesn't have factory is a/c due to truck manifolds and abs
