me and some friends made 500whp on a totally stock 4.8, stock valvesprings, cam, you name it, 16psi with a borg warner s475.

the valvesprings were hating life, but it did it.
thru a th350 trans and 8.5 rear.

What injectors and fuel pump were you using?

single bosche 044 pump and 80lb injectors, only using half the injectors

My car runs its *** off with an LS9 cam.

it drives and idles so ****** nice with that ls9 cam too, my friend drove my car to the track and raced it, i nearly fell asleep in the car. great mileage too if you have a street car.

I actually prefer the stock truck cams. Since they idle nice, and are pretty responsive and they do well with psi for a street car. I would rather get some dual springs and pr. Than a cam. If its just a stock 4.8/5.3. The boost will make up its own power anyway.

if you have a 24 tooth crank you need a 1x front cam gear
if you have a 58 tooth crank you need a 4x cam gear...

i have a 4x cam gear i bought as a mistake if you want it i will make you a hell of a deal and ship it to you just so i can get rid of it lol
