Default Eboost Vacuum Hose Joiner?

So, I bought a used eboost and its missing the adapter/joiner that connects the 4mm OD, 2.5mm ID polyurethane hose from the controller to the silicone hose that connects to the engine. 2.5mm ID is pretty small. It almost looks too small for a push-in style joiner. I'm guessing maybe its a compression fitting on the controller/polyurethane hose side connected to a barb on the engine/silicone side. Maybe I will have to go dig around at the parts store.

Can anyone confirm this? A picture of this piece would be extremely helpful. Turbosmart calls this piece the "connecting barb."

Thanks all!

Here is the pieces from my E-boost, I just opened the brand new box to snap some pics for you. Comes with 5 fittings.. 3 different types and sizes. This should give you a basic idea of what you should have.

I'm going through this now, why can't they just use normal size fittings/hoses!

Found this little gem at O'Reilly....

Seems to fit perfect! Just an FYI in case anyone else is looking for this part.

Also, Turbosmart will mail a replacement of the original piece for $10 if needed.

Come on now - REALLY?

There is a very specific reason why that fitting/adapter is the way it is.

Its a pulse dampener.
Its purpose is to smooth out the pressure signal to the on-broad MAP sensor.

The manual calls it a "joining nipple" or a "connecting barb". It's a straight-through brass fitting. There does not appear to be anything special about it.

Call it whatever you like.

There isnt really anything "special" about it. Just the size of the hole in it.

Ever look at the inlet on the back of any mechanical pressure gauges?
Same thing. It needs a restriction.

If it was better to have nothing, we would do it.
