Default dyno #s

Dynoed car for the first time 11 psi mix of 104 and pump gas, have ran the same amount on pump gas but and had no detonation but decided to mix just in case.

633 rwhp
629 rwtq

i was happy with the horsepower but disapointed in the torque any suggestions on the low torque numbers would be appreciated.

Forget about the "low" torque numbers. Look how nice your hp curve is!!!! I woulda KILLED for a flat curve like that with my TTi kit. Nice numbers!!!!!!!!!!

When are you getting full boost? looks like about 4500-5000rpm. My PT76 GTS hits 12psi by 3300rpm. I just upgraded from a PT71 GTS a few weeks back and notice no increase in spool time. I haven't dyno'd yet with the bigger turbo, because I'm waiting for my 422 shortblock.

What exhaust A/R and exhaust wheel are you running? Checked for small vacuum leaks?

i also have the t76 gts, and i dont see full boost until 4400 or so, check for vacumn leaks where, are you refering to spool time or to the peak tq numbers with the vacumn leak, the exhaust housing is a tangential .96 and exhaust is 3 inch with a bullet muffler

there's nothing wrong with your torque numbers that's a nice smooth linear curve, most turbos have the serious spike in power, looks good on paper but really impractical on the street, ie major tire spin, and broken trannies.

i've made up my mind, my next ls1 will be a turbo, if i get a nice settlement, want to do a 427 TT.

torque is ok, but reason its probably lower becasue your full boost comes on so late.
thats why a turbo will make more torque then a supercharger becasue you hit full boost sooner.
its very strange that you dont hit 11psi till 4400rpm. my restrictive TTi kit gets 10psi at 2900rpm through full exhaust and 2750rpm when the cutout is open.

and your exhaust path is shorter then the tech kit.
id definatly look for leaks.
what intercooler are you using?

I am using a custom intercooler it is a 1000 horse core that we built the endtanks on, one reason for the possible slow boost time is that the car unfortunately has 4:10 gears and does not allow enough time to build the boost, i will be switching gears this week hopefully that will help.

Big exhaust housing?

When I see big torque numbers I tend to generalize and regard that setup as having too restrictive of an exhaust, downpipe, etc.
