That's don't sound right.... I have that combo and mine is fine.... The people I talked to at umi were not to friendly, they engraved the "up" the wrong way on the mount and I was trying to figure out why they wouldn't fit and they had no idea blahh blahh pissed me off so I had to figure it out. the up meant down.....if u see this umi fu a holes lol wasted 1 night of my life figuring this out! Other than that my buddy has the umi k member and I thought it looks a little nicer than the bmr, but my car has everything bmr they hooked it up with a good deal!!!...

thats what we were thinking.. i made sure both labeled "top" were on top. But, it was crooked.

I think I remember them telling me they ran into that problem.... Flip the one around and see if that makes a diffrance

If u can, or have. A stock k member try them with it and see what happens

ya i had the same problem with those valve covers hitting near the gasket area just sell them

I do have it still put its not in the car.. lots of work just to see. Gonna call UMI come next week so we can figure this out.

well.. got 3/4 of the hot side done, then realized its too far over to the passenger side, so going to have to move it over 2" to clear the water pump.

Spent half the day putting in my trans by myself so i can get the motor angle correct.. had to use my wagon to get it from storage to the garage then use several jacks off the wagon and up in the car.. urgggg

and im also curious about the housing on the GT50-88, u pay over 2G's... do they normally come all grinded up and what not?

From what i have seen i would have to say yes. Here is mine. Know a few other people with GT88/91's that look the same way....

Anyone have or can take measurements of the width of comp and turb? The length would be golden as well. Curious to see how much bigger than my PT8847.

Yup, even the 4K+ GTX55 covers look so so. Outlets aren't even machined on them.

So the inlet looks diffrant on my cover and mine says garrett dose yours?

i might have to do the same... if i get it perfect it be like 1/2" from the radiator and 1/2" from the power steering pulley.

what size front tires u runnin? U think it be a pita to turn with 275's?
