2 40's cost ~$120 more than one 60.

That difference doubles when you go up to the next size 4x mm.

Bigger turbine is the way to go.

....I was talking about 2 60mm's and a small turbine to achieve great spooling and to uncork the topend.

I would love to see someone with a twin scroll 0.80 a/r t4 housing 91mm with a spoolvalve and 2 or 3 wastegates on a small ci engine...... hmmmm.....

Now as far as intakes go, GMMP/VIc Jr and elbow setup or just stick with an Ls6 or fast? Been reading that the Ls6 and Fast' composite material doesn't like boost pressure much..

I have a 402 and had that exact turbo, s400sx3 - 76mm and 80mm with the 87/81 turbine and it was great. 800hp all day with the 76 and drove great! Top end was also fine, but I shifted at roughly 6200.

I have a 365 with a .96ar 98mm turbine. It would be nice to have it spool a bit faster on the street. But when it comes down to it the 370 motors are a little bit stronger

I'm kicking around the idea of boost. From what i gather i will need to swap my pistons in my 408ci out to change compression. What pistons and rings are yall using? Also while the motor is tore down what else should be done?Rebuild?

I have a 408 with the BW 88mm turbo with a 1.45 AR T6 flange. It does not build boost really early but keeps pulling up to where I shift it at 6800 rpm.

The car has a powerglide in it and weighs about 2400 lbs.

I also have the Victor JR. and elbow set up.
