How much timing was that?? Seems low HP. 80s will make over 700 no problem

i didn't ask about the timing- he did comment it was safe.

but adding more timing may have yielded more HP but more HP requires more fuel right -and if im already at 90% DC

the car did spin on the dyno so not sure if that cost much HP.

Jacking the fuel pressure up to 60 will affect the tune and require a retune.

ive followed your builds and like them a lot- I regret going with HP tuners and wish i would have gone MS now but I already bought the harness, pcm etc for my swap.

What pumps and fuel pressure did you make the 697 at ?

im *** deep into HP credits and dyno time but may make the switch to the the MS3 later.

I saw you post that they were working on a direct fit lsx application.

Car was boost creeping. It made 605 rwhp at 5600 on a mustang dyno. We shut it down because of the creep. Stock bottom end also.

What Pumps Were you using? I'm starting from scratch on my car. The build will be stock ls1, magnum 80mm turbo, and e85 through a th400. Will 80lb ijectors be enough for this setup on kill?

what about 2 255's with -8 feed and 160lb injectors on E85??

Couldnt you lower the Fuel pressure to allow the fuel pumps to have more volume?

From what I’ve read you need 35psi minimum to get a decent spray pattern on the injectors. The more pressure the better the pattern/atomization of the fuel.

Honestly with the new badass 450lph e85 walbros I don’t see why people are still using the 255lph pumps.

Going by my experience with 120lbers I don't think 160's would idle well, even with E85. My idle is bearable, but I can’t get the pulse width high enough to get a great idle. Going by my DC numbers 120’s should support 1000+ on E85 at reasonable pressures.

I run:

40psi base pressure. (20lbs of boost)
magnafuel 750protuner pump (loud bastard!)
1/2 feed lines and OEM fuel rail
120lb injectors (low-z with AEM driver box)
E85
Logs showing 55% DC at right around 700whp (going by weight/trap speed)

What will the stock lines and rails support on e85? Thinking of going 80 # Deka injectors dual Walbro 255's stock feed line 1/1 fuel pressure regulator and use the evap line for the return line. Think that will support 800 rwhp?

Made over 700hp with my old 4.8 on 20psi... Dual walbro 255s, SD60s (73lb/hr at 58psi) and 50% e85. Top of the gear around 6400rpm was 90% IDC. 700hp on 100% e85 with 80s will be no issue...

Ok Cool So the 80's should be good for the power I want to make. How about the stock 2002 ls1 rails and fuel lines?

Fuel rails/lines will be good for 850rwhp, you just have to add a good regulator before the rails and can use factory evap line for return.

Are the OEM fuel supply lines 3/8" ID? Never actually owned an LS chassis...
