I opted not to go so hardcore on mine. Got a 45lb s480 turbo and sat fine on my Hotside with no brace so I welded on a tab off the t6 flange and bolted to the car. Gives it plenty of support to where I can stand on it plus on the sheet metal will allow for a tiny bit of flex to hopefully prevent cracking. Plus I have a mounting tab on my WG pipe also so it's got a "wide stance" bracing. VERY solid

Nice, I need something tough, mine weighs 57#. Thanks for posting the pics.

If u brace it to car subframe does the twist of a hard launch affect any of piping on the turbo

Well if you brace it off the frame you wanna run flex joints which I'm doing whether I brace it of the motor or the frame. I have solid motor mounts too which will help.

Gotcha i didnt see the flex joint ive never braced one and doin twin kit in a few months and a buddy swears i need to brace them lots of good ideas here tho

It is a special housing on it. GT4780 T4 .96a/r with a 4-bolt round flange

Yeah, it looks like a .96, I just thought the down pipe area looked a little different.
